Historical accomodation. 1924 time of great changes. The building used to ba a “Dopolavoro” that is a worker’s leisure centre. It took 3 years to build it with rocks coming from the famous pink and white granite.
The rocks were carried by carts pulled by horses to their final destination where a Team of stonemasons were enganged in adapting blocks and masonry
Masterbuilders and masons created a structurewhich has kept its original look up to now
It is possible to lodge in a building which combines on the grace and charm of a vintage house with the opportunità to enjoy the amazing natural landscape where it is situated: you can walk on well marked trails, leading to excursions and panoramic places of any kind, easy, more engaging or even mountain climbing ones or you can ride mountain bikes or e-mountain bikes, available in the structure, for off-road cycling.
You can ride on mountain trails or around the three lakes that are located within 6-8 Km from the place. Those lakes can be an opportunità of a relaxina day on the beach or interesting sightseeing.
Trough boat renting or scheduled service you can reach Stresa, Arona, Angera, Locarno (in Switzerland) and the three wonderful Borromeo islands on Lago Maggiore.
There are also many opportunities of free and crag climbing and via ferrata/aided paths as well as ski and ski-touring facilities.
The structure is situated 3 Km away from the Gravellona Toce ay exit, where you mustfollow the exit direction signs to Omegna.
