Built on the site of an ancient Romanic church whose bell tower still remains, the renaissance sanctuary Church Madonna di Campagna (VB) rises very close to Verbania Pallanza old town centre.
The nave and the two side aisles are wonderfully decorated with fresco painting.
It has been named national monument.
