The collection contains sacred art (sculptures and paintings) dating from the 14th to the 18th centuries. The oldest work is the wooden sculpture of St. Anthony Abbot (14th century), once kept in the small chapel of Casalecchio; there is also a Madonna of the Rosary (15th century), a statue of St. Martha (16th century) and several important works from the 17th century, including works attributed to the sculptor Giulio Gualio from Antronapiana and the group "Lamentation of the Dead Christ" (1612). The first wooden Baroque altar (late 17th century) in the Sanctuary of the Guardia is also worthy of mention. Among the paintings is a 17th-century Last Supper by an unknown author from the crypt of Saint Martha in the Parish Church and five large paintings representing Saint Peter and the four Evangelists, which used to be in the Guardia Sanctuary. The historical library attached to the museum contains works from the 16th to 19th centuries.
