Once again this year the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi participated in the international trade fair IMEX 2024, which took place from Tuesday 14 May to Thursday 16 May in Frankfurt. IMEX is the most important trade event for the Mice industry in Europe, bringing together agencies specialised in the organisation of events, congresses, incentive travel, international buyers and industry experts.
ATL was present at the fair with its own desk, set up within the Enit area together with Visit Piemonte DMO and ATL Turismo Torino, in order to promote and present the territory of Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo and the Ossola Valleys. The three days of the fair were full of appointments with international operators in the congress, incentive, wedding and events segment for a total of about twenty meetings with buyers from Europe and beyond. Information material was distributed to buyers and visitors, including the official map of the Tourist District (in four languages) with descriptions of the main attractions to visit and the bilingual brochure, in Italian and English, 'MICE & Wedding - Lakes and Mountains, Lands of Events,' containing the area's offer of venues such as 4* and 5* hotels, conference centres, and historical villas and residences.
