Our territory with its food and wine offer at Terra Madre - Salone del Gusto 2024 in Turin!
From 26 to 30 September, the international food and wine event, organized by Slow Food, Piedmont Region and City of Turin, gathered at the Dora Park in Turin producers and artisans from the agro-food sector from all over the world.
For the occasion on Sunday, September 29, the staff of the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi attended the stand of Regione Piemonte, presenting the territory and distributing their thematic publications to the large audience. Highlight, at 13.00, the tasting entitled "DISCOVERING THE FLAVORS OF OSSOLA WITH BALABIOTT BREWMASTER BETWEEN HIS VALLEYS" by the producer Matteo Vinci - Birrificio Balabiott - Birra Artigianale Ossolana, together with Andrea Camaschella, Tasting teacher at ITS Agroalimentare for Piedmont, director of the international competition IGA Beer Challenge, co-author of the Atlas of Italian breweries and judge of international competitions. The beers presented were paired with excellent salami and ossola cheeses. The tasting was a great success with wide participation and interest from the public present, who could taste and discover the tastes of our territory and what it has to offer in terms of food and wine as well as tourism.
