On Sunday 17 September 2023 at CHEESE in Bra, the great international Slow Food event dedicated to Messer Formaggio, the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi, with the renowned Luigi Guffanti 1876 of Arona and La Casera of Verbania, invited visitors and experts to its Tasting "From the Ossola Valleys to Lake Maggiore: green and blue landscapes for quality Refiners", organised thanks to the collaboration of Regione Piemonte.
Six qualities of cheeses from our territory were tasted, productions from both the hillside area on the lakes and the Alpine valleys, with by delicious sauces and honey from our meadows and forests, all with a good glass of Valli Ossolane Doc red wine.
Numerous visitors discovered and appreciated the authentic flavours of the Ossola Valleys and the hills between Lakes Maggiore and Orta.
