On Saturday 23 November, the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi organized, in collaboration with the IG WORLD ITALIA Community, the #IsolediLuce Instagram tour. Special guests were Instagrammers Adriana Oberto - IG @adrianaobertophotography for @Ig_Turin_ @ig_occitania, Ingrid Gastaldo - IG @ingridsworld79 for @ig_valledaosta, Manuela Valfrè – IG @manuela.hev for IG_cuneese, Romina Condemi – IG @romina_condemi for IG_genova IG_liguria
The aim of the IG TOUR was to tell about a unique event in the world, letting the narration happen through suggestive images, stories, live broadcasts and reels, inviting and raising awareness among followers to experience first-hand the artistic lighting "Isole di Luce - The Circle of Lights" that will affect Isola Bella and Isola dei Pescatori every day from 4:30 pm to 12:30 am and until January 12, 2025, consolidating the notoriety of our tourist destination.
On Saturday morning, the Instagrammers discovered hidden corners of the City of Arona with a stop at the Statue of San Carlo and the Parco della Rocca. After a delicious lunch break featuring typical Piedmontese dishes, the Instagrammers continued the tour towards the Borromean Gulf, experiencing the atmosphere of "Isole di Luce - The Circle of Lights" with a private cruise, creating wonderful stories re-shared on their profiles and on the IG page of the District (lagomaggiore_turismo) as well as on those of the various operators involved.
The moment so-called "WOW effect" was a huge success with thousands of views and interactions, creating a huge social tamtam and increasing the interest of followers both towards the "Isole di Luce" event and towards our entire wonderful territory.
On Sunday morning, before leaving, the Instagrammers also dedicated some shots and stories to the beautiful City of Baveno.
