Italy at Hand 2024 in Turin

This year, from 10 to 13 December, the conference capital of the sixth edition of Italy at Hand 2024 was Turin. Italy at Hand, the national Italian meetings industry event, was divided into 3 days of B2B meetings that saw 78 international buyers and 68 Italian exhibitors from 23 different countries meet, for a total of 3,500 interactions. For the occasion, the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi was present with its own desk for the entire duration of the event inside the Museo del Risorgimento to promote and enhance the destination of the Lakes and Ossola Valleys in a MICE key with more than 30 appointments on the agenda.
The buyers met were purely European with most coming from: Spain, Portugal, England, Germany, Sweden, and Norway, while among the non-EU buyers, the American market was the most important. All the buyers met showed interest in getting to know the destination, while for those who already knew it, it was an opportunity to learn more about the destination in terms of culture, food and wine, and conferences.
Additonally, the afternoons saw networking and interaction activities with a tasting activity at the Chocolate Museum in Turin and an afternoon dedicated to city site inspections.
